Classes are grouped by age, and progression is marked belt by belt — so students and parents always know what's next.
All classes run Monday–Thursday, 6:00–7:00 PM, at the Valley Way dojang.
Students advance through a structured color-belt system, testing as they master each level's forms, techniques, and sparring requirements.
The starting point. Focus is on stance, etiquette, and the basic blocks and kicks every technique builds on.
First forms are introduced, along with combination strikes and the discipline of structured class etiquette.
Sparring fundamentals begin, alongside more demanding forms and an emphasis on control and timing.
Technique gets sharper — full-speed sparring, advanced kicking combinations, and self-defense scenarios.
Pre-black belt training. Students refine every prior form and technique while mentoring lower belts in class.
Not an end point — a new beginning. Black belt students continue training toward advanced degrees (dan ranks).
Testing schedules and specific curriculum requirements are set by instructors and reviewed class by class — ask at your free trial for exact expectations for your student's level.
Structure and respect on the mat that carries into the classroom and at home.
Strength, flexibility, and cardio built into every class, not bolted on.
Real, practical technique — skills that hold up outside the dojang.
Focus, perseverance, and confidence, reinforced belt by belt.
